Pampered Paws started when our founder, Sarah, couldn't find a place she truly trusted with her rescue lab, Biscuit. So she built it herself.

We require proof of current Rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough), and DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus) vaccinations for all boarding and daycare guests. Records must be provided at or before drop-off. We partner with local vet offices to make obtaining records easy.
Check-in is available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily. Check-out is from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Late check-out (until 8:00 PM) can be arranged for a small fee of $15. We're open 365 days a year including holidays — because dogs don't take holidays either.
Absolutely — and we encourage it! Keeping your dog's routine consistent helps reduce stress. Bring their food pre-measured in daily servings if possible. A favorite blanket or toy is warmly welcomed. We launder all bedding before return and ensure everything goes home with your pup.
Every dog goes through a temperament evaluation before group play. Dogs who prefer solo time, show anxiety in groups, or have a history of dog-to-dog incidents are given individual play sessions and enrichment activities instead. Your dog's comfort always comes first — not fitting in with a group is never held against them.
We partner with two local emergency veterinary clinics and have agreements for priority access. All staff are pet first-aid and CPR certified. At intake, we collect your emergency contact, your vet's contact, and authorize emergency care up to a set amount. You are notified immediately of any health concern — we do not wait.
Yes — from teacup Chihuahuas to Great Danes. Play groups are organized by size and temperament, not breed. We do not have breed restrictions. Large breed suites are available with XL bedding and extra outdoor time. Senior dogs and puppies have tailored schedules to suit their energy and health needs.
We recommend 1–2 weeks for regular weekends and 4–6 weeks for holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, summer months). First-time boarders also need a brief meet-and-greet and vaccination check before their first stay — factor in a few days for this. Book early, especially for the Royal Suite which fills quickly.
